What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Browser storage includes local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, and service-worker caches. Together, these technologies help EventsVibe remember safe session information, load pages faster, and keep ticketing workflows reliable.

Essential cookies
Essential cookies are required for the site to work. We use them to:
- keep you signed in securely;
- protect account, organizer, and admin sessions;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and duplicate booking attempts;
- preserve checkout state while a payment is in progress;
- maintain security controls such as CSRF protection and session expiry.
If you block essential cookies, login, dashboard access, ticket purchase, phone verification, or booking recovery may not work correctly.

Payment and booking technologies
EventsVibe supports payments through Razorpay and Cashfree Payments. During checkout, these payment partners may set their own cookies or collect technical data such as device identifiers, session identifiers, browser metadata, IP address, fraud signals, and payment status references.
EventsVibe uses those signals only to complete payment, verify booking status, process refunds, prevent duplicate payments, reconcile transactions, and provide support. We do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or netbanking credentials.

Preference and experience storage
We may use browser storage to remember non-sensitive preferences such as:
- selected city;
- theme preference;
- dismissed install banners or cookie notices;
- search and filter state;
- recently viewed public pages;
- offline/PWA cache entries for faster loading.
These preferences improve convenience and do not replace server-side security checks.

Analytics and performance
We may use analytics and performance tools to understand page speed, errors, navigation patterns, and feature usage. This helps us fix bugs, improve checkout reliability, and improve event discovery. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Marketing and communication cookies
If EventsVibe enables marketing or campaign tools, cookies may help measure whether a campaign led to a visit, registration, booking, or organizer lead. We keep this usage limited to EventsVibe growth, attribution, and product improvement.

Third-party services
Some services embedded in or connected to EventsVibe may use their own cookies or similar technologies. This may include payment gateways, maps, email/SMS/WhatsApp delivery providers, analytics, support tooling, and security services. Their use is governed by their own policies.

Managing cookies
You can control cookies from your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to delete cookies, block third-party cookies, or clear site data for a specific website. On mobile, these controls are usually available under the browser's privacy or site settings.
Blocking all cookies may prevent EventsVibe from remembering your session, processing checkout, showing saved tickets, or keeping organizer/admin workflows secure.
